Intro
What Papera is, how an article goes from a topic to your portal, and how these docs are organized.
Welcome to Papera. Papera is an AI writing studio for articles: you describe a topic, review the draft it writes, and publish the finished article to your portal.
What Papera does
Papera turns an idea into a published article in three steps:
- Describe a topic. Papera researches it and proposes an outline for your approval, then writes the article from it.
- Review the draft. Edit the text yourself, or ask for changes in your own words, until it says what you want.
- Publish it. The article goes to your portal, and your working draft stays private until you publish again.
Your portal is a public page that lists everything you have published. Readers can search it and filter it. It lives on a Papera address, or on your own domain if you connect one.
Core ideas
A few concepts show up throughout these guides:
- Content unit: the source text of your writing, kept apart from how it is shown.
- Renderer: turns a content unit into an article, with its own layout, cover and SEO settings.
- Flow canvas: the visual map of a project, showing your content and the outputs made from it.
- Portal: the public page that lists your published articles.
A one-line example
Conceptually, every article follows the same path:
content unit → renderer → article → portal
